Course description

This course is designed for post-graduate (MSc and PhD) students. The main syllabus of this course are:

  1. Intermolecular forces and Equation of states

  2. Ideal solution, excess and residual properties, fugacity and fugacity coefficients and relevant thermodynamic relations

  3. Activity coefficient models

  4. Fluid-phase equilibria: ∅-∅  and γ-∅  approaches: Bubble point and dew point calculation, flash calculation

  5. Liquid-liquid (LLE) and solid-liquid equilibria (SLE)
